selling red sox tickets?

We%26#39;re visiting from Oregon later this month. We bought tickets to a game we now cannot attend. Can we sell them outside Fenway? Are Ebay and/or Craigslist good options?

Thanks

selling red sox tickets?

Craig%26#39;s List is an excellent option for selling tickets. You%26#39;ll definitely get responses. Sorry you can%26#39;t visit!

selling red sox tickets?

Yes. Yes. and Yes.

Technically, it%26#39;s illegal to sell your tickets above face value outside the park but it happens every day. Even though getting caught would be tough, I still don%26#39;t advise doing it.

ebay and craigslist are viable options. since they are your tickets and you%26#39;re doing it over the internet, you can set your price wherever you want it.

i would not recommend stubhub because they charge a commission.

Thank you. We are still going to two games. My husband wanted to go to three, but we won%26#39;t have enough time for everything else we want to do if we go to all three games. So much to do, so little time.

craiglist is your best bet for short notice but try to seal the deal as quick as you can. i had monster SRO%26#39;s once to dump and the guy was supposed to meet me at the park. when i finally got hold of him that day he backed out on me. (probably found some cheaper ones), i was forced to ';scalp'; outside but was not comfortable doing it.

Selling outside the park will probably work, but it%26#39;s not a comfortable situation at all. My brother-in-law got arrested a few years ago by the police for trying to sell an extra ticket at face value, and it wasn%26#39;t a fun experience at all. He ended up missing the game to deal with his arrest, and had to pay a nasty fine.

Find an alternate method if you can.

4dmama: check your messages:)

You will find scalpers around the park looking to sell and buy tickets. I%26#39;ve sold extra tickets to a scalper, but just at face value. I had received better seats for free and was not looking to make any money. I don%26#39;t think there is anything illegal about that.

you can sell them at face value at the park before the game.. its called a ';scalp free'; zone . i think it was at gate C or D not sure but search for it online.
