Amtrak to NY shutdown June 14th - 17th

I read today on Boston.com that Amtrak trains that run to NY will be shutdown this weekend between June 14th and 17th.

One of the blog comments also mentions that the %26#39;Commuter Rail Service will also face disruptions during this time on the Providence, Stoughton, Franklin and Needham lines%26#39; so something else to look into if you are using these lines this weekend.

Also the article mentions Amtrak will be running a special train Sunday-Tuesday that will go to New York via Springfield, a 5-6 hour trip.

There are changes to the Amtrak shutdown. It is now scheduled for Mon to Thursday (Jun 16th to Jun 19th).
