Hi...we%26#39;re Canadians visiting Boston July 3 - 6. (My 40th Birthday!) We%26#39;re staying at Nine Zero - plan lots of site seeing, including a Duck Tour - hopefully a day trip to Cape Cod. A key question we have is shopping, restaurants, etc. open or closed on July 4th? Here in Canada, our Canada Day is July 1st and everything is closed - wondering if we%26#39;ll run into that in Boston .

4th of July closings?
Most restaurants and many stores are open, although usually reduced hours. July 4th evening the focus is on the concert and fireworks along the river, so getting anything in that areais tough, even when they%26#39;re open.
