Last minute travel with Teens

We are planning last minute trip to Cape Cod week of 6/22 with 2 teens ages 14 and 16. The Ocean Edge resort in Brewster seems to have a lot to offer and spacious townhouses for a family that needs to spread out. Any comments or other recommendations for where to stay and things to do while there with kids this age? Thanks!!

I think Ocean Edge would be a great spot for you and your teens and that week will be terrific (we are always in Brewster that week and, for some reason, it is always gorgeous and sometimes very hot).

Will you be renting from a private homeowner or are you booking with Ocean Edge. The former would cost more money and, frankly, their one bedroom townhouse units would be a bit tight for the four of you (murphy bed in the living room). A 2 bedroom condo rented by an owner somewhere else on the complex would be great. You will have access to indoor and outdoor pools and you will be close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike trail.

Brewster is a fun place for kids (I have 12 and 14 year olds): minigolf, Brewster Store for penny candy and ice cream, bike trail, ponds, boating at Nickerson State Park, baseball shop in Orleans, bowling in Orleans (in case it rains), etc.

Let me know if you have other specific questions.

Thank you for the advice. I saw some of your other postings, we were in Spain last year as well. Loved the Alhambra, a place we will never forget!

The TA %26#39;world%26#39; is small...isn%26#39;t it? We had a wonderful trip to Spain....still need to do the trip report.

Let me know when you decide on your plans and I can help with restaurants, shopping, activities.
