Hotels/Motels - Eastham or Orleans

Hi there -

Coming to the Cape in Aug. We have a rental for a week, but plan to stay a couple extra days. We would like to stay in the Eastham/Orleans area. Recommendations?

Hotels/Motels - Eastham or Orleans

There are lots of places in Orleans and Eastham that might fit your bill. When I was looking a few years back for a two night stay, I used Expedia to find out who had something available so that I could pick something in my budget.

If that doesn%26#39;t work well for you, let us know your budget and what amenities you need (pool?) and we can help further.

Orleans:

www.alittleinnonpleasantbay.com and more depending on what you are looking for.

Eastham: www.forthillbedandbreakfast.com (beat you to it Yellowbird...lol)

What kind of accommodations are you looking for? There are lots of motels, and one large hotel in Eastham as well as inns and B+B%26#39;s. I would not recommend Expedia, as the rental market on the outer cape is mostly ';Mom and Pop'; run places and since most are full all summer, they really don%26#39;t need to subscribe to the big accommodation search engines like Orbitz and Expedia. Instead, take the suggestions offered here on TA for nice places in Eastham and Orleans and take a look at the Chamber of Commerce sites if you want to see the whole array of potential places. www.easthamchamber.com

CCC. HOW did you know I would recommend FH? LOL

As we have some extended family in Eastham, we really only need somewhere clean, 2 beds and a pool.

Check out the Seashore Park Inn in Orleans. Indoor/outdoor pools, great rates and mixed reviews on TA, but it might suit you for a few days.

Like the idea of Seashore Park as it%26#39;s right on the bike trail and has the indoor pool.

Town Crier, Eagle Wing, Cove Bluffs and Beach Plum Motor Lodge come to mind as inexpensive motels. Think they all have pools.

Maybe your relatives can be helpful with ideas. They would know what is closest to them.
