Boston June 20 - 22, Girls Weekend (2 of us, 39 years old)

I%26#39;m coming to Boston (actually staying in Cambridge) for the upcoming weekend to have a girl%26#39;s getaway with my childhood friend. We are both married, and aren%26#39;t interested in ';partying like 20 year olds';. But, we do want to have a good time. We%26#39;ve both seen the touristy stuff, looking for suggestions.

We%26#39;re open to fun dancing places (maybe 80s music?), live music, great cheap places to get Lobster, fun daytime places, great day spa deals, etc.

Any advice is suggested!

Thanks

You could take a trip out to the harbor islands for the day. The inner island ferries are pretty cheap.

There are a fair number of clubs that have an older (non early-20s) clientele and that are more laid back. Saint comes to mind, if it%26#39;s still open (clubs change so frequently...). I%26#39;d grab a handful of the local free entertainment rags (the boston phoenix, the improper bostonian, the weekly dig) that you%26#39;ll find all over the city. They%26#39;ll give you a good sense of what%26#39;s going on. I remember the improper bostonian having a good club listing that describes each venue%26#39;s ';crowd'; and music. Online, you can check out boston.com and bostonphoenix.com.
