Headind to the cape the first week of August for the Irish Pub roadrace. Any reccomendations for happy hour or agood place for a couple of beers?
Happy hours
Well, this probably isn%26#39;t what you had in mind but last season the Oyster Co. had Happy Hour Oyster prices, until 6 I think. You can sit at tables but it%26#39;s a friendly bar. This is in Dennisport. In West Dennis there%26#39;s Sundancer%26#39;s with alcoholic drink specials.
If you get up to Wellfleet check out www.thebeachcomber.com for lots of fun day or night.
Happy hours
The race starts at 11:00 a.m on August 2nd from Cape Cod%26#39;s Irish Bar on rte. 28. Here%26#39;s a link for the race:

sorry: that%26#39;s on rte. 28 in West Harwich.
I hate you tell you this , but ';Happy Hours'; are illegal in Massachusetts. The law took affect in 1984 (I guess Big Brother was watching after all).
You%26#39;ll still find promotions at bars like ';Sundancers in Dennis or Pufferbellies, in Hyannis so you might want to check out those joints.
The Irish Pub itslef is a good place for a couple of beers.....Where are you staying: Hyannis, Chastham, Outer Cape....?
Happy Hours may have officially ';died'; twenty years ago...but they will always live on in my mind. Just go to Trader Ed%26#39;s if the weather is good, and you will have found your nirvana.
we have been going to Cape Cod, MA. (Eastham) for the past 25 years and the last time we came up we found a charming bar/inn called the Duck Creeke Tavern Restaurant. 70 Main St. Wellfleet, MA 02667 Phone: 508-349-7369 Email: info@innatduckcreeke.com Web Site: www.innatduckcreeke.com ...
At the time they had a quartet playing and we had a wonderful time. It%26#39;s worth checking out....
